NAPSingers
For the Spring semester NAPSingers will function as a choral group. Students will learn different singing techniques to develop their voices while preparing songs for a spring performance. Open to grades 2-5, meets Mondays starting Jan 27th – April 13th. (No Class on Feb 20th & March 9th)
Ukulele (Intermediate/Advanced)
This course is designed for students who have taken beginning ukulele or have played ukulele in the past. Students will continue to grow in their ukulele playing skills with learning and rehearsing songs with chords as well as tab. Students will work individually and in groups to prepare songs for a spring performance. Open to grades 2–5, meets Tuesdays starting Jan 21st- April 14th. (No class March 10th)
Recorder Karate
This course is designed for students who wish to learn how to play the recorder. As students learn to read music notes and master songs they will receive a colored belt (just like in karate!) Open to grades 2-5, meets Wednesdays starting Jan 22nd-April 15th. (No class March 11th or March 18th)
*Please note* NAPS does not have recorders for students to borrow- if a student chooses to participate in this enrichment they will need to bring their own recorder every week. Suggested Soprano Recorders can be purchased for between $5-$10 at Music&Arts or on Amazon.com
